Pensacola, FL Restaurant Adventures: 5 Sisters Blues Cafe

5 Sisters Cafe. We wish we would have found this sooner. Their Sunday brunch is totally freaking amazing. They have a live band playing which makes the ambiance perfect. We arrived about 30 minutes after they opened and we already had trouble finding parking. We actually had to park somewhere down the street and walk. The place was packed so we opted to sit at the bar (instead of waiting). Our waitress was the bartender. If your waitress is your bartender, your ice teas get refilled much faster. Now we know (and so do you).

We were first served some type of buttery-goodness biscuit-bread thing. I almost had to fight Chase for the last one. We ended up splitting it.

We opted for fried green tomatoes for our appetizer. It's actually my favorite app to order at most restaurants.
^ Chase's New Orleans Napolean - "Puffed pastry layered with scrambled eggs, andouille sausage and green onions topped with Hollandaise sauce. Served with hash browns topped with our three cheese blend and diced tomatoes."-from their website. Chase loved it.
^My Chicken and Waffles. Totally self explanatory. I've heard about chicken and waffles several times before. It was probably really unhealthy, but I don't regret my decision to eat it at all. It was fabulous.

It's our hope we can find a chill place like this when we get to Oki. Sunday brunches are so much fun. :)
